is a gathering of buyers and sellers of books at a stated time and
place. It is really a pleasure for the lovers and collectors of books. Like

4. Your Duties as a Citizen : Every
citizen is a member of well-arranged and civilized society. As citizens, we
must lead a developed life without harming others and the environment. A good

Pollution : Environmental pollution is a term for the pollution of what constitute the human environment---the air, the water, the sound, the land etc. It has become a problem to all over the world and threatens to destroy the humanity. It is the product of our industrialization, excessive use of natural resources and ignorance. Pollution affects the balance of ecology. If human civilization is to be saved from annihilation, pollution must be prevented.

The scientific meaning of pollution means making the atmosphere poisonous and
unhealthy where no beings can normally live or grow. Pollution is the greatest
problem in the present day world. It has been damaging the health of our good
earth by destroying the ecological balance and creating health hazards.
9. About Season : Mutability
is the law of nature. As in human life so in nature nothing is fixed---Everything
goes throuth a changing process from time to time. In keeping with this low of
changing seasons come in and go out in cyclic order.The Bengali year is divided
into six seasons of two months each.

Festivals are of great importance in socio-culture life of India. On the
occasion of festivals the Bengalees forget their cast and religion mingle together. Thus a festival cements the
cracks that appear in the social-structure.
11. About Sports : The
usefulness of games and sports is mainly related/connected with physical
health. Games and sports help in the circulation of blood, harden the muscles
and make the body fit, strong and stout. A sound mind can only dwell in a sound
health. Games and sports have educative value also. They teach—self-control,
disciplines and help to form zeal to work together.
12. Value of Time/Punctuality : Time and tide waits for none. It goes on
incessantly in its journey towards the sea of eternity without abiding for
anyone, however rich or poor. Lost health can be regained through proper
nutrition, lost wealth can be brought back by heart toil even lost knowledge
can be made up by years’ study but time once lost is lost forever.

of any language is adorned with/by its poetry, essays, novels, dramas etc. where

20. SarbaShikshaAbhijan / Educationfor All : ‘SarbaSikshaAbhijan’ (SSA) / ‘Education For All’ is
a national scheme to decrease the number of dropouts in schools of elementary
education (Lower Secondary Level [up to class : VIII]). The chief objective of
this scheme is to bring every child to school. It is a joint venture undertaken
by the Govt. of India and the State Govt. So both the governments are funding
crores of rupees for the scheme. On the whole, the scheme is a grand

Problem of Unemployment : Unemployment means the state of being without job.
It is one of the gravest problems of India today. The present trends of
increase in literacy rate and pressure of female aspirants have made the
problem acute both in rural and urban areas. There are many factors behind this
problem. Population explosion, the failure of the Govt. to create adequate job
opportunities and faulty land reform system are the major reasons behind
unemployment. Besides, craze for white-collar jobs among the educated
unemployed youngsters, intensive computerization and privatization of job
sectors and lack of vocational and technical education have also added much to
the problem.

NEED OF COMMUNAL HARMONY/NATIONAL
INTEGRATION/Tolerance: India is a
land peopled by different communities professing different religious faiths.
But their universal religious tolerance and global brotherhood down the ages
have unified into them one single nation. Thus it has so long been evoking the
glorious image of ‘Unity in Diversity’. But of late this image is at stake.
Some groups of extremists are destroying the undercurrent unity among different
communities of people. Some political parties are fanning communal forces too
for their vote bank. As a result, …they have to sing in the chorus of Ruskin
Bond who once said, “Race did not make me an Indian. Religion did not make me
an Indian. But history did. And in the long run it’s history that counts”.

Internet : As a definition, an internet is
an international connecting network connecting other networks and companies
from companies, universities and other institutions in order to quick exchange
of information. We are living in the age of computers. The development of
computer programming and technology has given us the cheap and quick way of
exchanging the information and communication, this method is called Internet.
The use and abuses of internet depends upon the user. Use: information on
various topics and need, advantages of encyclopaedia, Wikipedia, dictionaries,
helps to exchange vies on..., brings the world closer.., Abuses: Students
wastes their precious times in useless surfing, the younger destroy their
mental values on pornography, computer hiking, waste of time in chatting...
