Editorial
Letter>Reckless Driving of Public Vehicles
I will be grateful if you kindly publish the
following matter in your esteemed daily. I want to raise my voice against the reckless
driving of buses, auto-rickshaws, trucks in the city. It is often seen that
the drivers of public vehicles do not pay any heed to the traffic rules.
They do not maintain the speed limit, overtake dangerously, change the track
whimsically and the commuters become the victims of their irresponsibility.
Their lives are as if in the control of their accelerator. The traffic police
are also responsible in this regard. They remain indifferent towards their duty
of curbing the erring drivers. The recent spurt in the number of road accident
bears evidence of this fact.

Fable
Personal
Letter > Advising Friend to Visit
Public Library
I have just gone through your sweet note. You have
written a lot about your favourite TV serials and Programmes. But I am really surprised to know that recently (of late), you mostly remain glued to the
idiot-box. It’s nothing but a waste of time, my friend. Better you have my
suggestion. Do try to develop the healthy habit of reading books. Believe me,
this is a wonderful pastime and will provide you with lots of pleasure. But to get
the right book, you should visit the local library regularly. Just go there and
pick up your choice. Borges rightly
termed library another Paradise.
So much for the present, more when we meet. Let me
know your tryst with the library. Keep up reading.

Building Construction
Construction of a building is very essential to
every civilized citizen as it is considered to be a basic need. However, this
particular job is done through a few numbers of steps. At first, the plan of the
proposed structure is drawn by an architect. Then, the plan is sanctioned by the
concerned Municipality or Corporation. Thereafter, the masons and the labourers
are engaged. Next, the construction starts from the foundation with brick,
sand, cement and other materials. After this, doors and windows are installed.
Next, plaster of the complete construction is done. Then, the electric and
water supply lines are connected to the building. Finally, the building is
painted with desired shades and it is ready for living.
